Award-winning reporter, Jennifer Bradley, is assigned to write a story about CEO of the Year, Brock Martineau, for her upscale magazine. Brock is known for innovative business practices because his company turns pinto beans from his family farm into a replacement for fossil fuel. Are his intentions as pure as he wants everyone to believe? Jennifer must find out fast and hope she can resist his charms in the process. Her boss, Tonya, bets she can’t resist and, with a trip to the Bahamas on the line, Jennifer is determined to keep her hands to herself. Reader Rating: Not rated (0 Ratings)

Excerpt:
Forty five flights up, Jennifer’s stomach stayed in the lobby by the time the doors opened up to the posh office suites in the penthouse.A sign saying, Pintoene Corporation, sparkled in the afternoon sun. Jennifer walked through the glass doors and into the lobby, initially noticing the interior office window where Brock Martineau looked busy speaking on the telephone. He wore a cool grey suit with fine lines, a gold tie and a crisp white shirt. Typical for a business man of his stature, but his body made the clothes pale in comparison. Muscular ripples bulged through his suit, his smile showcased a strong perfect jaw line as he laughed and ran his hand through thick black waves of hair. My, oh my, is he gorgeous! Television and magazine photos couldn’t compare to seeing him in person. Tall, dark and handsome. He looked up from his call and straight into her eyes and smiled. Embarrassed that he caught her staring, Jennifer held her breath and looked away, wondering if she or the phone call caused his smile. “Bahamas, Bahamas, Bahamas…” she repeated it in her mind like a mantra, hoping it would give her the strength she needed to get through this next two weeks. As she stared at the ground and thought about the gorgeous subject of her interview, she wondered if she would even be able to look him squarely in the eye without acting like a befuddled school girl. What’s worse, with his notorious reputation and the smile he’d already given her, Jennifer realized she would definitely be earning every minute of her trip to the beach, and then some.
