Thanks a Million will draw you in from the first page until the last. You are left wondering what the characters angles are, who knows what, who will get caught, and what the ramifications will be because of their actions. Excerpt:
STORY EXCERPTStuart Wynne, CEO of Wynne enterprises, raised his commanding baritone voice. “All right Fallon, you made your point. Are you ready to come back to me?” She’d accompanied Michelle to the study part of Stuart’s opulent thirtieth floor penthouse. Where Michelle had gone, she had no idea. She studied Stuart, tall with deep blue eyes, and short dark hair with a touch of gray. She’d gone with him for two years when she was principal show girl, and really loved him…or his money, she couldn’t be sure. Regrettably, at the time, he belonged to someone else. Now, though she was tempted, she couldn’t—she had married Dana. He’d warned her that Dana was a loser, but she’d been in heat. He was so gorgeous, like a movie star. “I can’t. You know I’m married.” Stuart rolled his eyes and sneered. “Humph! To a dealer, what’s he make? A hundred grand?” At Stuart’s sarcastic inquiry, her vision wandered past Stuart to the bright lights of the ‘Las Vegas Strip.’ “Eighty,” she replied casually. As she took a seat, he repeated her answer, “Eighty?” and laughed derisively. “I make a thousand times that. See, he’s not even a good dealer. Is he any good in bed?” Her gaze shifted back to Stuart. He’d gone too far and her nostrils flared in annoyance. “Yes, the best sex I’ve ever had.” He raised a single skeptical eyebrow and cupped his chin with his left hand. “Really, at least he’s good at something. Maybe, I underestimated him. How am I?” Stuart asked boldly. She wanted to hurt him. She wanted to say the worst, but she couldn’t do it. “The second best.” “Out of how many?” he asked with a mischievous tone in his voice. She uncrossed her legs and sat up, knees and legs together. With her eyes narrowed and chin stuck out, she admonished him. “A gentleman would never ask that of a lady.” The expectant look of his face changed to a frown. “Sorry.” “Apology accepted.” Stuart’s blue eyes narrowed. The corners of his lips curled up. “Then, my dear, if your husband is the best lover you’ve ever had and I’m the second best, you haven’t lived until you’ve had us both…simultaneously.” Initially, she was shocked by his audacity. Then, as the idea sunk in, a tiny ember of yearning ignited in her core. Wouldn’t that be an interesting scenario? “Well,” she said in a huff, “that certainly isn’t going to happen.” A grin of confidence formed on his face. “Don’t be so sure, sweetheart. Tell me, if your husband agreed, would you go for it?” The ember grew and burst into a flame. She crossed her legs and pulled her skirt, which had risen, down. “If he insisted, I would go along. ADULT EXCERPT Fallon finished her flute of the fabulous bubbly and asked for another. Michelle was pouring her a second glass when her BlackBerry rang. After filling Fallon’s glass, she pulled her phone out of her purse. She listened for a dozen seconds then said, “Yes.” and hung up. “Stuart and your gorgeous husband will join you soon. I have to get down to the party.” Fallon’s large eyes grew larger. “Dana’s up here?” Michelle picked up her purse. “Ah-huh. Marty Bennett brought him up.” Fallon held up a hand. “Why don’t you wait? Dana and I will accompany you to the party.” She flashed her bright wide smile and shook her head. “Because, you, lucky devil, and Dana are staying here. I’m so jealous. You are about to have your own party.” Her mouth opened as Michelle bent down, kissed her cheek, whispering in her ear, “Tell me how it goes.” Fallon suddenly felt hot and guzzled the rest of her champagne. Did Stuart pull it off? Did he convince Dana to allow him to join us in our bed? Her hand shook as she poured the remaining ounce or so in her flute and swallowed it. She’d barely finished when she heard Stuart say, “Here’s your lovely wife.” She turned and beheld Stuart and Dana, with Stuart’s arm draped around Dana’s shoulder, strolling toward her. Her stomach clenched and the flame in her core returned at the realization that she was about to have sex with her handsome husband and the suave billionaire who’d been her greatest lover. Her libido had grown from the first mention of a threesome, and now they stood before her. Stuart edged up to her, pressing his sizable hardness into her abdomen. She wanted to take it, to stroke it, to suck it, to feel its texture and ridges in her mouth. Her breathing increased from the awareness of what was about to transpire. As Stuart drew nearer, she noticed a pleasant, tangy citrus aroma. He leaned in and whispered in her ear, “Dana has something to say to you.” His nostrils flared. “You have no idea how much I’m looking forward to this.” He kissed her cheek and walked into his master suite. A vision of sexy images ran through her mind and added to the relentless heat building between her legs. The walls of her pussy began to perspire sweet crème in anticipation of multiple invasions. Thank God, Dana was there to catch her, since she’d become faint with excitement. Even though the reality of it scared her, a ménage a trois was something she dreamed about. She wouldn’t fight it. She would glory in it. She noticed a quiver in Dana’s hands and voice. “I have an idea. You can say no if you want, but I thought we could do something different to celebrate the holidays. What would you think—“ “You want Stuart to fuck me!” She sensed the tension in him. “Well, yes. Me too. We would both fuck you.” “Yes.” “It would make you feel real…Did you say yes?” “Yes, I said yes.” Her lips crushed against his and her long nails dug into his tight ass. “Thank you. It’s my fantasy.” She took his hand and led Dana into the once familiar territory of Stuart’s exquisite bedroom.

A novella that will be disturbing for many as it deals with the power of greed to upend the reality of love. It is a picture of many in today's world and is a dose of reality for those who want a world that is all sweetness and light. It is also a story that makes the point that giving in to one's less noble urges can prove disappointing in the end. I'm glad I read it!Submitted By: flyushkifly on Feb 17, 2012
Another disturbingly misogynistic story wrapped up in a faux erotica package. This author's female characters are gold diggers and the males have serious control issues. The sex scenes would have been hot if there was one ounce of respect anywhere. Submitted By: Dodgers on Dec 22, 2011
The twists and turns in this novella, where a billionaire hotel owner played the hero for a sucker, kept things interesting. The sex was hot and the ending did surprise me. Four plus stars. Thanks a Million
