As it turned out The Plantation was a sprawling centuries old building that was absolutely stunning. I had been shocked to find that no beds were to be placed on the first floor at all! My client, Billy Creiger, wanted only the finest furnishings for the dining room, a full chef’s dream kitchen, a “Smoking Room” complete with dark paneled walls and a humidor. Mr. Creiger informed me that a full bar room was needed on the first floor, and marble clad bathrooms needed to be abundant. Upstairs bedrooms would be equally luxurious, with a different décor in each of the 15 bedrooms. With some rooms becoming impossibly modern, a mountain cabin, an Egyptian room, while still others should be fit for various other kings and queens. Was it a designers dream or nightmare? I couldn’t decide.

Upstairs there would not only be individual bathrooms attached to each room, but also a giant shower room in what had been the original upstairs Sunroom. In this shower room there should be at least 20 shower heads with a Jacuzzi hot tub in the center. Additionally a media room would not feature traditional stadium seating, but rather a flat mattress center surrounded by comfortable leather sofas on three of the four walls. The fourth wall would be the actual theatre screen.

“Great… Life size porn,” I muttered, and my client did not bother to suppress his laugh.

I worked on completing both my own home and the Swing Plantation at the same time. Both were completed within five months with the almost around the clock attention of my daily graying contractor. Lucky for me he had long ago gotten used to my forcefulness and determination to complete the most challenging jobs in the least amount of time. I, in turn, had gotten used to his outdoorsy handsome profile, and no longer stared at his behind every time he climbed a ladder. Well, at least not as much as I used to. Truthfully, in addition to his nice ass, he also did the finest work in Charleston, so it was all a win-win situation for me. The fact that he was also my husband’s best friend did not enter into the equation.

Of course I was still madly in love with Chris. There was no doubt about that, I had even begun to take some twisted sense of adventure from sex now that I knew that we had “people” watching us.
