Submitted By: parnassusgirl on Jun 12, 2014Accomplished writing, great world building, wry sense of humour. Yet another great story from Ilona Andrews, definitely worth it.
Submitted By: anneinthenorth on Jan 26, 2014As usual for Ilona Andrews, the world building is wonderful, as is the writing, and there are strong and sympathetic main characters. This story has some steamier sex scenes than others by this couple, but they are not over written and are appropriate in the story. I am looking forward to more entries in this series.
Submitted By: imvic on Jan 28, 2013Another great story by Ilona Andrews. Everything they write is a must read, and Silver Shark is no exception. Well written and full of strong charecters combined with amazing world building!

Submitted By: goldnhound on Mar 10, 2012This second story in the Kinsmen series can be read as a stand-alone novella. The husband & wife team that make up "Ilona Andrews" has once again delivered an excellent story set in a believable yet innovative fantasy realm, this one futuristic. They have a talent for creating worlds which are unusual and yet completely logical given the base assumptions. These worlds only serve to highlight the human emotions that are the crux of all their stories, essential to the plot without overshadowing it
Submitted By: ArtSeblis on Feb 12, 2012Love Ilona Andrews, and her excerpt of this story on her blog excited me so much that I broke my rule of not purchasing e-books because I prefer to wait for a printed version. The text on the PDF I downloaded is too large, though. Is it really like this for all PDF books? I am reading the e-book on my laptop.
Submitted By: anonymoose on Feb 1, 2012Set in the same world as Silent Blade. I enjoyed it a lot although I wish it was a bit longer in length to show more of the characters together in their relationship. Lots of interesting plot twists. Can't wait to read more stories in this world.
Submitted By: mpalmen on Jan 13, 2012Downloaded the PDF format of this book and I have to say it's quite low quality. All pages, while well readable, are made of very small images of about half a pocket's normal page size. The story itself is quite enjoyable, as one may expect from Ilona Andrews.
Submitted By: jaay_d on Dec 14, 2011Excellent read for scifi romance. Also, the relationship between the heroine and the hero did not feel unreal as is usually the case with stories that are short. The ultimate bond between the two main characters I found to be believable even though they knew each other for such a short time. I read the story wishing it was longer. It was that good. I wanted to prolong the experience.
Submitted By: nverde6 on Oct 8, 2011A really great story. I LOVE Ilona Andrews. The characters are alive and brilliant, I enjoy the way their relationship develops. I would've preferred more from the ending but still a perfect treat. It was a sweet bonus to see that Meli and Celino are married with a son. Great Book!
